In the last two weeks I have shot a ridiculous amount of twins, it seems like almost a pair a day. So yesterday, after finishing two shoots that both had a pair of twins I tallied up the twins I have shot recently. Ten sets in the last two weeks! Pretty crazy, right? Maybe that should be my specialty ;)
This little peanut is one 5-pound half of a twin set from yesterday.
A couple of weeks ago I was in Dallas for my birthday and to shoot two handsome young men. This is Kaleb, the younger of the two and he's quite the little model already.
I really love long grass as a backdrop. It just photographs so beautifully with shallow depth of field! I wish I could find a field in College Station that wasn't constantly being mowed!
This is Bryce, he's a good model too :) That shirt's pretty fierce too, right?
I really do shoot the prettiest kids! This is Natalie, who in addition to being two and still in diapers, has the hair of a pantene commercial. Isn't that crazy?
Apparently it's a family trait, this is her little brother Caleb, who is three-months-old and impeccably coiffed.
This is Carter, he was the easiest little man I think I have ever shot! He was so happy to be there and I had to work for shots of him not smiling!
This is his little sister Ally. Below is the face she makes when you ask her to smile. Isn't it hilarious? I love when little kids have such an obvious fake smile!
Of course, most people don't want to hang pictures of their little ones obviously fake smiling and so the trick is to make the laugh/smile at you without asking them to smile so that you get a more natural expression.
Future Aggies!
For Halloween Miss Ally was a ladybug Carter was a fighter jet pilot!
The other day I had a woman ask me if I ever shot people other then babies (answer, yes) but then I checked out my blog and sure enough the last five entries have been about babies...so it's about time we spotlighted something else :)
Here's Sarah and Caleb's engagement session. We had a great night for our shoot, and we did several outfit changes and many different locations in downtown Bryan which helps make the editing more exciting for me! Aren't they a gorgeous couple?
I've been photographing these two lovely ladies for a while now, so it was delightful to get to shoot their new little brother! This is Jacob, and he is much adored.
