Austin and Graham

These two brothers are Austin and Graham! We did a hybrid shoot of sorts with them and started at Research Park and ended up at the Bush Library. I like that combination because there are things at Research (boulders, streams) that Bush doesn't have, it adds variety, and a large portion of the Bush library is currently under construction.

Austin is such a handsome fellow!

Happy baby!

You know how I was posting about babytraps earlier today? Basically they are props that you can put a 1 or 2-year-old on that are high enough to slow them down if they try to run off, but low enough that they don't get hurt if they fall out. This on one of said "traps" and even then Graham was to fast for us!

Hummm, who's the cut up in this family?

The light the night of their shoot was simply perfect! These next few shots are my favorite of the night.

Open mouthed baby kisses are the best!

Claudia, Emmy and Libby!

These lovely ladies are big sister Claudia and twins Emmy and Libby. We had quite a busy shoot, we shot at a pumpkin patch (yes, this shoot was prior to Halloween...which shows how far behind my blog is) at Wolf Pen park and the Mall!

Claudia is getting to be such a big kid now!

An outtake from the Joy shot before we decided to do a collage ;)

Sweet Libby is always a piece of cake to shoot

Claudia was telling me about her ice skating partner who she might have a tiny bit of a crush on (despite him being shorter then her) and thus the real smile!

Then we went to the Mall and shot Christmas pictures (again this shot was before Halloween)! Aren't these sweet faces adorable? I think Santa will have a hard time denying them anything!

Landon

How did this tiny little guy...
...turn into this big kid in just one year?

This is Landon, he was just perfectly 1, very energetic, independent and curious!

How handsome is this kid!?!?!

With 1 and 2-year-olds I like to put them on "babytraps" which are basically things that are high enough that they cannot get off them quickly, but low enough that they cannot hurt themselves if they do attempt to cut and run...thus this chair gets used a lot.

Here's Landon giving me the stink eye..."Really lady? I'm so done with sitting on this chair!"

He has a great sense of humor for a person so small! He's the only 1-year-old I've ever met who thought the groucho glasses were hilarious and wanted to wear them!

Solomon and Samuel

These two boys were so high energy and joyful! It really made for a fun shoot!

Sweet Sol

Samuel was so much fun!

I love this picture, shy Mr. Sol needed a moment of reassurance.

Molly, Addie and Ellie

One of my favorite little girls to shoot is living with a chronic illness, diabetes. A few months ago her mom sent around a video invite to a walk they had in Houston to support research into a cure for juvenile diabetes. Unfortunately I was already booked for that weekend and couldn't walk, so instead I did a mini shoot of the family in their "Addie's Hope for a Cure" shirts!

This is big sister Molly.

Next is Addie! Here's her video about living with juvenile diabetes. (I was going to inbed the video, but it's late and I can't quite figure it out...anyone want to help me with this?)

Last, but not least, is Miss Ellie!

The girls with their grandparents, Modge and Podge (aren't those the cutest grandparent names?)

Sweet sisters!
