I'm not a huge fan of shooting on overcast, super dark days, but College Station has offered me ample chances to play around with this type of lighting this spring, and I think I'm getting a lot better at it. Whohoo. Silver linings! Also this family was so easy to work with it made the super super easy! :)

Mckenzi & Jada

How beautiful are these two little princesses?

Jada is pretty much the smilest baby I have ever met. Because it was so stinking unseasonably cold when were we scheduled to do this shoot we had to keep moving dates and then do an evening to get warm enough weather. (Typically I shoot babies in the morning, they tend to be much happier then) and Jada was a super smiler and didn't stop until she passed out on her daddy's shoulder. I was so very impressed with her. ;)

Madelyn

These beautiful ladies are my fiance's cousin, Ashlee and her daughter Madelyn! So, come July when Kyle and I get married, this tiny doll baby will be 2nd cousins with me? 1st cousins once removed? I'm not really sure how that goes, but I definitely claim her! Ha!

Ashlee lives in the Huntsville area so they drove to see me, and we did the shoot in my studio. Unfortunately Ashlee's husband Simon couldn't come, so her mom drove her down and we got some "three generations" shots. : )

This kid has the best lips!
