Reid

Two-year-olds keep my life exciting. Always when I think I have figured out what makes them tick, a two-year-old comes along that keeps me humble. This post is about a two year old who was so amazingly easy I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and it never did. What are the odds of that happening? (Answer: during a photoshoot? Never.)

This handsome fellow is named Reid, which is why he's standing next to that particular plant. Reid with reeds! I know I am so punny. It's a sickness; I can't help myself.



Reid is going to be a big brother soon, so we included mom and his little sister in a few of the shots.






Here he is practicing his winking skills. How cute is that!?!

3 Months Later...

So, the good thing about posting so slow is that by the time I post the first shoot I have already completed the second shoot and then I can post a compare/contrast post! Silver linings people, silver linings:)

This is the same baby as the previous post, Caleigh. Isn't it crazy the difference 3 months makes?







She even let us get sleeping pictures which is rather rare for this age. We tried to get her into some of the same poses that are seen below for a better comparison.

Le sigh. I am awful about updating this thing! I have so many shoots to post up here too! Maybe if I post less pictures and more frequently? Yes. Let's try that.

This is little Caleigh, she was about a week old when we did her shoot. Isn't she a lovely little thing?

Grayson

So, inside this bump....



...was this little guy. Grayson. Isn't he the most alert looking newborn?

The black background is his Daddy's shirt. I think it came out looking particularly nice :)

Admittedly, getting two 4-year-olds to look pleasant at the same time and hold a newborn can be hard, but these two guys made it easy for me!

Black/White

I got so many black and white images from this session that I thought i'd make the entire blog post my favorite monochromatic images from their session.

This is Benjamin, he was 9 months old and a total doll.





This is the oldest sister, Reagan, who was in one of my favorite stages...the missing front teeth stage!

The middle-est sister is Catherine, she has a hilarious little personality :)









These last two are my very favorite images of the session. I was done with the formal pictures at this point and was just playing with the backlighting. That is a wooden privacy fence behind them...pretty neat effect, right?

College Station Photographer; Rowan

I did a shoot the a short while ago for a lovely little family with the sweetest little 6-month-old. Seriously, I had trouble getting a picture of Rowan that he wasn't smiling in!
