Cooper!

This handsome little guy's name is Cooper, and you know I think Cooper may rhyme with "super" for a reason because this kid was just that, Superb! He was one month old when we did these and man was he good to us!

Audrey

This gorgeous little lady is Miss Audrey!

We shot her mid morning on a bright day so I got to practice my full sun shooting technique, which is always exciting.

Audrey is just my idea of the perfect baby. (Lydia, are you taking notes? I'd like my next niece or nephew to be like this, thanks!) She was so happy and beautifully bald and had rolls in all the right places.

Luke

This sweet little man is Luke. He was a photographer's dream baby. Sleepy and willing to pose and naturally tucking his arms and legs up into his body. ( Photographers call that "curly"). His mom is a photographer too, so it's pretty awesome for her that he's such a great model. :)




Luke is the fourth child in this family so he's got a whole crew of people who love him.





This shot cracks me up. Luke woke up right after we had everyone else positioned so we took a quick snap and rescued him. But I think the combination of his pathos and their smiles is amusing.

Isn't this hat sweet? His mom hand dyed and knit it. Isn't that cool? She makes specific colorways for each of her children. (This isn't Luke's colorway, but another hat she made for the curious ;)

See? He just curled up so nicely with his long arms and legs!





Sweet fuzzy ear! One of the things I love best about newborns is how furry they are!

I think his relaxed hand placement is my favorite thus far of the babies I've posed like this. You want the baby's face to be completely at ease, and for their fingers to be flat against the sides of their face and Luke was very willing to comply!

Delaney Bump Photos (and big Brother Jackson)

It was recently brought to my attention that I don't really post a lot of maternity images on my blog. I tend to stay constantly overbooked, and frequently when the maternity images are edited the baby is already here and I just post the newborn images... but I'm making a concerted effort to include more pregnancy photos here!

This gorgeous bump was holding little Miss Delaney (yes she is already born and will be here on the blog shortly ;)

This is her big brother Jackson who is just as adorable in person as he appears here.









Jackson is 4 and already has a missing tooth which just so perfectly matches his mischievous personality.
