Diego!

This past spring I gave a couple of sessions to schools to use in their fundraisers/silent auctions. A coordinator of one of the fundraisers e-mailed me that a pregnant lady had purchased the session I gave their school and I was thrilled (and secretly hoping she used the session for newborn portraits) and guess what? She did!

This is Mr. Diego and his parents. He is a long awaited little man and completely worth the wait! He was such an easy baby to photograph, and I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with him! :)

I love that he still had his hospital tags on! It helps signify what a new human he is in these images!

Morgan and Leah

About to head out and drop a CD of images off and I realized that I had never put them up on the blog, so here's gorgeous babies Morgan and Leah!

They are identical twins but Morgan was about 6 pounds when we did this shoot and Leah was only 4 so it was easy to tell them apart ;)

They were so good to me! (In part because we hadn't even passed their due date yet...babies always sleep/pose better before the two week cut off after their due dates!)

Aren't they sweet little ones? Such beautiful, peaceful faces!

Taylor, Garett and Morgan

When this is the first photo of the shoot...

...and these are the second and third it could make for an interesting shoot. (Sidenote, I've shot Morgan since he was 2, and he's never particularly liked having his picture made. I admire his consistency on the issue- there's something to be said for knowing yourself so well at such a young age- but he's too cute to let that fly. ;)

But I've got a couple of tricks up my sleeve and Morgan and I bonded over a moth and then everything was good!

See what I mean about the cute? Dimples!

Garett, as usual was super easy to shoot, second borns FTW!

Taylor is 12 and I'm sure somewhere scads of 12-year-old girls are busy writing his name and circling it with puffy hearts ;)

We did some wall climbing...

Taylor got really pretty high

Morgan was too little to make the span, but he was willing to show how high Taylor was!

Pretty much my favorite picture of the shoot ;)

Aubrey and Granger

This adorable little miss is Aubrey, she did a great job posing for me :)

This is Granger, her younger brother! Isn't he the cutest? His hair isn't blond, it's white! One of my brother had hair this blond as a baby :)

Because their birthday are close together, we got some of them in their birthday shirts too!

Lincoln

Of course, all children are blessings, but sometimes it's easier to see when you have to wait and pray for them. This is sweet Mr Lincoln who is my neighbors' new son. He took 4 years of prayer to get here (some on my part! I was completely elated when I learned they were expecting!) and he is completely worth it.
