Jaxson

This beautiful boy is the very much wanted and prayed for 6th child in his family!

It's funny, the way a lot of people view big families, as though each child is less special and treasured because of the amount of siblings they have. When really the third child is just as special and wonderful as the first. In fact, they are probably more loved because they have all those older siblings waiting for them, eager to fight over who gets to hold them. (Full disclosure; I have 6 siblings, and I wish I had more. They are my favorite people).

Jaxson's big brother Adam was born last year, and went straight from being held by his mama to being held by Jesus. I was one of the few people who had the privilege to meet with Adam, and take a few images for his family, and while shoots like that are my least favorite thing to do, I feel like they are important and I want to be able to serve in that capacity if I can. (The local contact for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, is Kathy Norwood I do these types of shoots unofficially).

However, my favorite type of shoot is a rainbow baby shoot, the promise that comes after the storm and Jaxson's shoot was wonderful!

My friend Lamar, made me this adorable pumpkin hat! and it was just the right size for this pumpkin's head ;)

The whole family! Do these two make pretty kids or what?

These kiddos were so easy to work with. Love it when that happens ;)

Awesome!!! I love these pictures and this family! I wish I could go back in time and capture those precious days when sweet babies still sleep in the fetal position, though they have plenty of room. What a tribute to the Divin's and to life!
